we would like to introduce you Ca’Priuli, Palazzetto Zulian Priuli Parth, a Venetian villa situated along the banks of the River Brenta, in the municipality of Dolo, half way between Padua and Venice. The villa dates back to the XVI century and it has recently been converted into an elegant B&B.
The building is part of a group of more than 300 villas along the Riviera del Brenta, all dating from the XVI to the XIX century. Originally it belonged to the Priuli family and was recently restored so to make it revive its ancient glamour.
Ca’ Priuli offers its guests a wide range of amenities: four rooms on the noble floor of the main building and small apartments located in the “Barchessa” and by the courtyard. They all are equipped with a small kitchen and private bathroom.
The four rooms expressly designed to be functional, with a modern design in contrast with the ancient mansion, create a warm and elegant atmosphere. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom with shower, towels and courtesy set, satellite TV, wardrobe and writing table. They all have preserved the typical Venetian Terrace pavement as well as the oak-beamed ceilings, which thanks to the modern and essential furniture, stand out in all their beauty.
The four studios are situated in the “Barchessa” and have been thought for those guests looking for greater freedom during their stay. These apartments are all equipped with private bathroom with marble tiles, kitchen nook with tableware and cutlery. Two of them are on the ground floor and have private entrance, they both are designed for two people only. The other two apartments are on the first floor and the sleeping area is on a mezzanine floor; they can host up to three people. Small size pets are wellcome in these rooms.
A private parking area is at the clients’ disposal as well as the wi-fi connection in all rooms. The B&B is also provided with a small garage to store bicycles which are obviously for rent (bikes are the ideal way to visit the Riviera del Brenta and its villas). If guests have already checked out but are still in the area, they can leave their luggage or car at the B&B.
Ca’ Priuli is the ideal place to stay for guests who want to visit the cities of Padua or Venice, since both can easily be reached by car or by public transports (busses, trains). The B&B is situated among the many Venetian villas along the River Brenta and they are certainly worth a visit during their stay. Our personnel will promptly give information about the events going on in the area or suggest possible interesting solutions for a nice day out in Venice or Padua; one of the most interesting ways to visit the zone, is a tour along the River by boat.
Venice, this magnificent work of art everybody should visit at least once in a lifetime, is only 20 minutes away from Ca’ Priuli B&B. We will be happy to give our guests all sorts of information about art exhibitions, gallery vernissages or events worth a visit, but they will also be offered the opportunity to reach the city by boat and navigate the lagoon, so to have a new and different view of the city. A shuttle service (on demand and upon payment) is available. A visit to La Fenice theater is certainly recommended.
The Venetian mainland is rich of interesting little towns to visit; fishing lovers won’t miss a visit to Chioggia. From its little port, boats leave daily for fishing and people loving this sport may have a chance to spend some time relaxing and enjoying the open sea. Boats are available both during the day and the night. Another place worth a visit is the fish market of Chioggia which is famous for serving the all area of Venice and some time can also be spent, during summer, at the seaside nearby.
Music and lyrics lovers cannot miss a visit to the beautiful city of Verona. Its historical Arena has been the stage, over the years, of the most beautiful and famous lyric and theatre masterpieces. Art and Palladian architecture lovers will definetely head for a visit to the city of Vicenza, while Treviso, a few kilometres away, is considered the heart of food and wine excellence. In fact this is one of the most renowned areas for wines production, like the famous Prosecco. The cities of Abano and Montegrotto Terme, near the Colli Euganei, are famous places for the thermal treatments and their many spa resorts which offer a wide range of beauty treatments in a relaxing, joyful environment. Not far from this areas there are many golf courses and mini-golf areas dedicated to the youngs. People loving nature, breathtaking views and winter sports cannot miss a journey to the magnificent Dolomites, declared in 2009 World Heritage by the Unesco.
The Garda lake, the largest lake in Italy, is certainly an amusing place for children and grown ups. The areas around the lake offer the visitor a splendid natural scenary full of colors; while a visit to the many theme parks like Gardaland and Caneva World (water park), will remain in the hearts of the little ones as a great emotion.
